I started out like most people, unsure of what lay ahead after compulsory education. I might have become a doctor or an interior designer if not for a chance encounter with the renowned director and DoP Rajiv Menon.
From the age of 16, I began hanging around film sets, doing odd jobs, until an apprenticeship with Menon introduced me to my true calling: cinematography. I rejected a medical college admission to enroll at the MGR Film Institute in Chennai, spending half my time in its incredible library and the other half on film sets.
I have been fortunate to gain acceptance in both feature films and advertising, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunities and faith placed in me, resulting in a body of work I’m proud to showcase on this website.
Here, you’ll find a mix of relevant and less recent films. Each project, regardless of its age, represents a significant part of my growth and holds value for me. Feel free to browse through this collection of both recent and older works to appreciate the craft behind them.
In conclusion, I believe that if someone can drive a car, it doesn’t matter which one they’re given. The corporate world may prefer only Ferrari drivers when they have a Ferrari with them, but I can drive an Audi, a Mercedes, a BMW, or a Porsche just as well.
